Colorado Housing Connects is the sole statewide housing helpline service that is operated in partnership with the state by local housing nonprofit Brothers Redevelopment.
By calling Colorado Housing Connects, housing navigators can help Coloradans navigate through non-emergency housing services and resources. Our helpline provides information about a variety of housing services and topics of interest to renters, landlords, first-time homebuyers, seniors, people with disabilities and anyone with fair housing concerns.
We aim to prevent evictions by connecting Coloradans to local rental assistance resources, wherever they live, thereby encouraging long-term sustainable solutions, informing residents about the eviction process and their rights, and by connecting residents to legal referrals. We also work to prevent foreclosures by connecting homeowners to government certified housing counselors that can help residents access legal referrals, financial assistance, housing counseling services and more.
Colorado Housing Connects is the spot to be connected to Brothers Redevelopment’s other programs. Among those services include the Home Modification and Repair Program (home modifications and repairs for disabled and elderly homeowners); Paint-A-Thon Program (free house painting for seniors); Landlords Opening Doors (housing placement for residents in transition recovering from health issues and leaving rehabilitation centers and nursing homes); affordable housing; and senior services.

We receive all sorts of housing-related questions. A lot of people are calling in right now about eviction or foreclosure prevention. We also hear from people looking for affordable housing, with tenant-landlord issues, people interested in learning more about how to buy a home, homeowners looking for resources related to their home, and much more.
There are a ton of resources to help people with their housing needs. It can be hard for people to know which resource is the best fit for them. Our knowledgeable navigators will connect callers to local resources nearest them that can prevent eviction or foreclosure, or that might help someone resolve housing difficulties — like tenant/landlord issues, refinancing options and more. The service is offered free of charge.
Colorado Housing Connects works to assist landlords by answering questions about housing vouchers, connecting landlords to resources that can help tenants pay rent and by helping landlords access services like free training programs offered by some cities and counties in the state. We can also answer questions related to a potential tenant transitioning out of medical rehabilitation or assisted living, and we can provide information about renting to a veteran. Whatever your question may be, we’re bringing answers home.
Yes, Colorado Housing Connects is accessible to non-English speakers. To request support through interpretation or translation, you can email us at hcinfo@brothersredevelopment.org in your preferred language. We’ll work with a reputable interpretation or translation service to make sure you have access to the information you need.
Colorado Housing Connects is a free service. We ask our callers some basic questions about their housing needs and some optional questions about their household. When someone calls in, they don’t need to provide a navigator with any documents to get help. We don’t ask whether or not someone is a citizen. Programs we refer people to that help with the rent may require paperwork, but we don’t. We’ll help someone understand what kinds of programs there are and what kind of paperwork they may require before they apply.
Colorado Housing Connects is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can contact us through our website 24-7 and we’ll respond during business hours.
Colorado Housing Connects is available to all Coloradans in the state.
